    The Wells College men?s lacrosse team played a back-and-forth game before being overtaken by The Sage Colleges in the fourth quarter. Sage closed the game on a seven-goal run and won 18-12 over the Express on Tuesday, March 19 at the Wells Turf Field.

    The Wells College baseball team lost 12-8 at Dickinson College on Sunday, March 17 to wrap up its spring trip. Dickson led 6-0 and 11-3 before a late rally for Wells came up short. The Red Devils are 11-2 on the season and Wells is 4-6.

    The Wells College men?s volleyball team split a pair of matches at home Saturday, March 16 at the Schwartz Athletic Center. In a North Eastern Athletic Conference meeting, Lancaster Bible College rallied for a five-set victory over the Express. Wells closed the afternoon with a three-set win over John Jay College.

    The Wells College baseball team picked up a win over Clarks Summit in a neutral site game at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Thursday, March 14. Wells took control with four runs in the second and two more in the third to take a 6-1 lead en route to the victory. Wells is 2-5 on the season and Clarks Summit is 0-6.

    The Wells College baseball team dropped a pair of games as it continued its spring-break series of games in Myrtle Beach, S.C. On Tuesday, March 12, Wells lost 9-6 in extra innings to Albertus Magnus. On Wednesday, March 13 the Express lost 13-0 against Penn College.

    The Wells College baseball team will not play its originally-scheduled weekend games for March 2 and 3 at the Wells Turf Field due to snowy field conditions. Saturday's doubleheader against SUNY Canton and Sunday's doubleheader against Alfred State have been postponed, and hope to be rescheduled later in the season.

    The Wells College men's volleyball team cruised to a three-set win at Daemen College on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Wells won by set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-17. Wells improved to 11-6 overall this season in the victory over Daemen, a first-year program competing in NCAA Division II.

In the opening match, Wells took the top-ranked team in the nation, Springfield College, to the brink but fell in five sets. Wells responded with a five-set victory over Rivier.

Over the course of the three-day meet, the six Wells swimmers totaled 15 all-conference honors in individual events and had five relays earn one first-place finish and four second-place finishes.

Sunday?s final session saw Wells claim two all-conference finishes in individual events as well as the final relay, which boosted Wells to second place.
