    ROSEMONT, Pa. - Wilson men's basketball junior Rashaan Bean (San Antonio, Tx, Forest Park) has ben named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Bean led the Phoenix with a 24 point and 6 rebound effort in a season opening 89-69 victory over Goucher College. He shot 61.5% from the field including 50% from behind the arc. Bean also added 2 assists, a steal, and a blocked shot in the victory.

    DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced the match-ups for the 2018 ECAC Division III Field Hockey Championship. The championship field will be broken out into two pods with quarterfinal play beginning on Wednesday, November 7. The Wilson College field hockey team, coming off of a runner-up finish in the Colonial States Athletic Conference tournament, has been selected as #4 seed in the ECAC tournament. The Phoenix will travel to play Arcadia University on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

    LA PLUME, Pa. - The Wilson College men's soccer team came up just short tonight in the championship game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference tournament, falling to Keystone College by a final score of 2-1. The Phoenix (3-10-4), who previously defeated top seeded Cairn University to advance to the finals, fell to the Giants (12-4-1) by one goal for the second time in the last two weeks.
