CHAMERSBURG, Pa.- The women's basketball team of Wilson College returned to action tonight as they squared off against the Tigers of Trinity University (DC). The game ended with 3:35 to go as a forfeit was declared. The Phoenix win with the final score being 127-7.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- Looking to extend their four-game winning streak, the Wilson men's hoops team played host to the Broncos of SUNY-DELHI. The Phoenix (8-9, 4-1 CSAC) pulled out a victory against the Broncos (9-9, 0-0 ACAA) by a score of 91-79.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- Due to the possible incoming inclement weather this weekend, the Phoenix men and women's basketball doubleheader against Bryn Athyn scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Friday evening. The women's game will start at 6:00 p.m. followed by the men's contest.
CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- The Phoenix men's basketball team traveled to Clarks Summit University for a conference contest against the Defenders. Wilson (7-9, 4-1 CSAC) captured their fourth straight victory as they used a big first half to beat the Defenders (0-15, 0-3 CSAC) 87-61.
SOUTH ABINGTON Township, Pa.- The Wilson College women's basketball team took care of business on the road this afternoon as they handheld the Defenders of Clarks Summit University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) matchup. The Phoenix (7-6, 3-4 CSAC) defeated the Defenders (0-14, 0-6 CSAC) by a final score of 53-29.
BALTIMORE, Pa.- The Phoenix hit the road this evening as the women's basketball traveled to take on the Gators of Notre Dame University (Md) in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) matchup. Wilson College (6-6, 2-4) could not grab a hold of the lead and were defeated by the Gators (7-7, 4-2) by a final score of 58-55.
LA PLUME, Pa.- The Phoenix men's basketball team took on the Giants of Keystone College this evening in a CSAC contest. Despite a poor first half of shooting, Wilson (6-9, 3-1 CSAC) was able to overcome their shooting woes with a strong second half of play and defeat Keystone (0-15, 0-3 CSAC) 79-69.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The women's basketball team of Wilson College faced off against the visiting Falcons of Cedar Crest College this evening in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game. The Phoenix (6-5, 2-3) defeated the Falcons (3-11, 2-3) by a final score of 64-46.
ROSEMONT, Pa. - Wilson College men's basketball senior Keion Adams (Gaithersburg, Md., Seneca Valley) has been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Adams averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 2-0 span for the Phoenix. In the 74-61 win over Elizabethtown College he tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds. Adams erupted for 27 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four assists in a big 76-68 CSAC victory over Centenary University.
