    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Wilson College has named Tina L. Hill its new director of intercollegiate athletics. Hill, who brings more than 29 years of experience in NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics administration, will replace longtime faculty member and Wilson athletics director Lori Frey, who last year announced her desire to return to teaching full time.

    GILBERT, Ariz. — Two members of the Wilson College field hockey team were honored for their hard work in the classroom by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). Juniors Jenna Carty (Chambersburg, PA., Greencastle-Antrim) and Bethany Comp (Millerstown, PA., Greenwood) were each named to the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. The Division III National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.

    ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), with unanimous support from its Board of Directors, has announced the suspension of all athletic activity, including contests and championships, for the remainder of the 2020 spring semester. This will become effective on Friday, March 20, 2020.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Wilson College has announced that effective immediately all athletics events including conference and non-conference competitions, all camps and clinics, as well as athletics practices for spring sports and non-traditional sports are cancelled for the remainder of the semester in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Additionally, the fitness center, field house gym, bowling alley, archery range and outdoor recreation courts are closed until further notice.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Beginning today, March 12, all home athletic contests will be restricted to student-athletes who are participating in the event as well as essential athletic staff and officials. No spectators will be allowed to participate. This decision was made in concert with similar guidance from the NCAA and in the best interest of the health of all involved.
