    CULVER CITY, Calif.- Junior softball player Megan Potter (Hagerstown, Md., South Hagerstown) was named to the Fastpitch News All-American Honorable Mention team.

    ROSEMONT, Pa.- The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) announced the 2018-2019 All-Academic team, which included 34 Wilson College student-athletes. In order to be selected, student-athletes must achieve a grade-point average of 3.20 or better during their semester of competition, while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA. The CSAC named a total of 472 student-athletes to the list. Seven of the nine core members had over 40 percent of thie rosters named to the All-Academic team.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Wilson College Director of Athletics Lori Frey has announced the hiring of Emily Barbieri as the Head Women's Lacrosse coach. Barbieri comes to Wilson after serving as the assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Hood College since 2015. She is also the founder of the Atlantic Coast Lacrosse Academy and is the director of the Maryland Lacrosse showcase.

    ERIE, Pa. - The Wilson College baseball team capped off a fantastic inaugural season with an appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship semi-finals this afternoon in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Phoenix (21-13) fell to the top seeded Pfeiffer University Falcons (29-8) by a final score of 10-2 on the campus of Penn State Behrend, which served as the host for the championships.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College baseball team continued post-season play this afternoon in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships. The Phoenix (21-12) hosted the Penn State Altoona Nittany Lions (28-17) and came away with a 3-2 victory.

    DANBURY, Conn. - The Wilson College baseball team has earned a spot in the 2019 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Baseball Championship. The Phoenix (20-12) will enter the tournament as the #4 seed and will host #5 seed Penn State Altoona (28-16) at Henninger Field on Wednesday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m. The winner of the first-round game will advance to play No. 1 Pfeiffer University (28-8). Weekend hosts No. 2 Penn State Behrend (24-16) will square off against No. 3 Grove City College (27-15). The Championship game will be played on Sunday May 19.

    CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The historic season for the Wilson College softball team came to a close in the NCAA Crestview Hills, Kentucky regional. The Phoenix (27-8-2) were defeated by the Dickinson College Red Devils (25-16) by a final score of 8-2. This season marked the first ever appearance in the NCAA championships for the Phoenix.

    CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Wilson College softball team took to the road where they faced the twelfth ranked Saints of Thomas More University in the opening round of the 2019 NCAA Division III Regional Championship. The Phoenix (27-7-2, 14-0 CSAC) were defeated by the Saints (33-9) by a score of 7-0.

    LANGHORNE, Pa. - The inaugural season for the Wilson College baseball team has been outstanding and has exceeded expectations. The first year program with a roster of mostly freshman earned a spot in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championships and hit the road for their first post-season game this afternoon at Cairn University. The Highlanders (20-20) came from behind to top the Phoenix (20-12) by a final score of 6-4.

    ROSEMONT, Pa.- The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has announced its 2019 Baseball End of Year Awards. Wilson, a first-year program, saw five players land spots on the All-Conference teams. Freshman Hunter Cheek (San Antonio, Texas, Smithson Valley) was the only Phoenix player named to the first-team. Freshmen Kevin Ehrman (York, Pa., Central York) and Nick Quinn (Odenton, Md., St. Mary's) were both selected to the second-team while Juan Rosario (Hollywood, Fla., Hollywood Hills) and Zach Sutherland (Lumberton, N.J., Rancocas Valley) earned honorable mention honors.
