Geswaldo, Wilson Selected as NEAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honorees

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Nick Geswaldo and Willie Wilson as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in men’s lacrosse for the week ending April 14.

Nick Geswaldo (Lafayette, N.Y.) from Morrisville State has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Mustangs in a 2-0 week in conference play. Geswaldo netted 14 points on nine goals and five assists in games against Cazenovia College and Medaille College. The Mustangs’ senior attacker had two man-up goals on the week with six ground balls and four caused turnovers to earn his second weekly award of the year.

Willie Wilson (Geneva, N.Y.) from SUNY Cobleskill has been named the NEAC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season as the Fighting Tigers split a pair of conference games last week. Wilson made 15 stops in a loss at SUNY Poly on April 10 before closing out the week with 18 saves in a win over Wells. The senior goalie made 33 saves and posted a .673 save percentage in his two games to receive the weekly nod.
