Rush, Biljanoski Earn NEAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Jake Rush and Nikoli Biljanoski as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in men's lacrosse for the week ending April 21.

Jake Rush (Hamburg, N.Y.) from Medaille College has been selected as the NEAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week as the Mavericks’ offensive leader in a 12-7 win over SUNY Cobleskill. Rush dished out six assists and picked up a team-high 10 ground balls. The senior midfielder also won 8-of-15 faceoffs to help the Mavericks earn their first conference victory of the year.

Nikoli Biljanoski (Auburn, N.Y.) from Keuka College has been named the NEAC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this year after helping the Wolves preserve a 10-8 win at Cazenovia College. Biljanoski allowed eight goals and recorded 14 saves to finish the day with a .636 save percentage. The Wolves’ junior goalie leads all NEAC players with eight wins and a .577 save percentage in 11 appearances.
