Woodley, Holt Tabbed NEAC Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Paul Woodley and Nathan Holt as its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in baseball for the week ending April 28.

Paul Woodley (Levittown, Pa.) from Penn State Abington has been named NEAC Baseball Player of the Week after going 11-for-19 in a 4-1 stretch for the Nittany Lions. The sophomore outfielder posted a .579 batting average and on-base percentage with a double, three RBIs and four runs in a week of conference play that included a three-game sweep of Penn State Berks. Woodley also had three stolen bases and a .632 slugging percentage in five games.

Nathan Holt (Shippensburg, Pa.) from Penn College has been selected as the NEAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after posting a 2-0 record with a 1.20 ERA last week. Holt threw two complete games against Gallaudet University and Penn State Abington while striking out eight in each game. The Wildcats’ sophomore right-hander scattered 12 hits and allowed just two earned runs in 15 innings of work.  


The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has 12 NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Cazenovia College, College of Saint Elizabeth, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Pennsylvania State University – Abington, Pennsylvania State University – Berks, SUNY Cobleskill, Morrisville State, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and Wells College.
