LATHAM, N.Y. – Antwan Claxton from SUNY Cobleskill and Cassidy Perry from Gallaudet University have been selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week.  

Antwan Claxton (Bronx, N.Y.) led SUNY Cobleskill in a 96-73 win over Bryant & Stratton College. The senior had 28 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, and five steals for the Fighting Tigers. Claxton went a career-best 6-of-9 from 3-point range while going 10-of-16 from the floor.

Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) was GU's leading scorer in two losses over the weekend. The freshman forward scored 16 points in a 62-50 loss to Hunter and followed that up with a 17-point game in a 67-57 loss at home against Rutgers-Camden. For the weekend, she tallied 33 points, 20 rebounds, three blocks, three steals, and two assists. She had a double-double in the Hunter game with 11 rebounds and just missed another one with nine boards against the Scarlet Raptors.
