LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has named Penn State Berks’ Aydeen Lee and Penn State Harrisburg’s Jared Brewer NEAC men’s soccer Player of the Week.

Ayden Lee (Lancaster, Pa.) turned in a pair of strong performances to help the Nittany Lions go 1-0-1 this past week. The freshman midfield recorded four goals in the two games. He tallied one goal in the team’s 3-3 tie against nearby Alvernia University. Lee followed that up with a hat-trick in a win over Gallaudet University in the NEAC opener.

Jared Brewer (Reston, Va.) was named Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead Penn State Harrisburg defensively in a 2-0 week. Despite his role as a defender, the junior netted the first goal of his career in the team's 2-1 victory over Penn College in the Lions' NEAC opener on Saturday. His marker proved a valuable equalizer in the game's 68th minute. As the Blue & White's center back, he helped hold Penn State Brandywine to just two total shots and one shot on goal in Penn State Harrisburg's 5-0 shutout victory on Wednesday before limiting the Wildcats to just four shots and three attempts on target in the Lions' conference-opening win three days later.
