Lancaster Bible Collects NEAC Women's Soccer Weekly Awards

LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Kara Huber & Erin Mikula of Lancaster Bible College as NEAC women’s soccer Players of the Week.

Kara Huber (Lancaster, Pa.) earned Offensive Player of the Week honors, as she scored four goals, including two-game winners, as the Chargers went 2-0. Huber opened the scoring in a 3-0 victory over Neumann on Thursday and then had all three goals in Lancaster Bible's NEAC opener on Friday against Penn St. Abington. The Lancaster native’s hat trick was the first for the Chargers this season, and Huber now has four goals and an assist in 2019.

Erin Mikula (Pennsburg, Pa.) earned Defensive Player of the Week acclaim after posting her first two shutouts of the season this week, as she did not allow a goal over two games, including the Chargers' NEAC opener. The sophomore had five saves in Lancaster Bible's win over Neumann on Thursday and made three more in the Chargers win over Penn St. Abington on Friday. Mikula is 3-2 overall this season.
