Neild & O'Loughlin Take Home NEAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Hannah Neild of Gallaudet University and Morgan O’Loughlin of Penn State Abington as the NEAC women’s soccer Players of the Week.

Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) found the back of the net seven times and assisted on two more goals in a pair of wins for Gallaudet. The sophomore scored four times in Gallaudet’s 6-1 win over St. Elizabeth. Against Yeshiva on Sunday, Neild had a hat trick and supplied two helpers in the 8-0 Gallaudet win. Neild’s 18 points so far in 2019 paces the NEAC.

Morgan O’Loughlin (Downington, Pa.) went 2-0 with a 0.50 GAA average for Penn State Abington last week between the pipes. The junior shut out Clarks Summit, 4-0, while making two saves and allowed one goal to York (N.Y.) in a 6-1 win. O’Loughlin recorded a .833 save percentage.


The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has 12 NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Cazenovia College, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Poly, and Wells College.
