GREENWOOD, IN. – Three student-athletes from the Northeastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) were bestowed with honors of being named to the 2020 Academic All-District® Baseball and Softball Teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The organization recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball and softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.
Among the honorees included:
Bret Williams, senior outfielder of Penn State Harrisburg, accumulated a 3.31 grade-point average and will receive a degree in security and risk analysis. Williams made the District 4 baseball team that includes all Division III schools within the state of Pennsylvania.
Dylan Nolan, a senior catcher of Wells College, accrued a 3.46 GPA and will graduate with a degree in business. Nolan made the District 3 team that includes all Division III schools within New York State.
In softball, senior infielder Jessie Hammers of Keuka College, scored a 3.65 GPA. Hammers was honored on the District 3 team that includes all Division III schools within New York State. Hammers will receive her degree in Occupational Therapy.
Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District® will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced from June 8-11.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the links below, and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.

The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has 12 NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Cazenovia College, Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Lancaster Bible College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, SUNY Cobleskill, SUNY Poly, and Wells College. Associate members are: Alfred State (M Lacrosse), Cedar Crest College (W Swimming), College of Saint Elizabeth (M Tennis & M Volleyball), D’Youville College (W Lacrosse), Hilbert College (M&W Lacrosse), Medaille College (M&W Lacrosse), Rutgers University – Camden (M Golf), SUNY Potsdam (M Volleyball) and Wilson College (M Volleyball).
