LATHAM, N.Y. – Updates from Gallaudet University, Keuka College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, SUNY Cobleskill, and SUNY Poly are featured in this week’s NEAC Notables.  

Gallaudet University
The women’s team at Gallaudet had a 3.33 GPA. It is the first season that Gallaudet has received recognition from the United Soccer Coaches on the women’s side … The Bison swim teams kicked off the 2019-20 season in the NEAC with a meet against Frostburg State on Saturday … The Bison softball team had six student-athletes be recognized as Scholar Student-Athletes by the National Fastpitch Coach Association (NFCA) …

Keuka College
The Keuka College soccer teams excelled in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year, as both, the men and women earned the Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches … The women’s soccer team posted a 3.43 to earn their sixth academic award overall … The men’s team received the award for the fourth straight season after posted a 3.25 grade point average as a team … The Wolves women’s soccer team is 5-0 in NEAC play and has not allowed a goal to a league foe … The softball team had a league-high 11 student-athletes be honored as Scholar Student-Athletes by the NFCA …

Morrisville State
The Mustangs are the lone unbeaten team in NEAC women’s volleyball play at 4-0 … Morrisville State has won 19 straight regular matches against NEAC foes …

Penn College
The United Soccer Coaches honored the Wildcats' men's and women's soccer teams … The men from Penn College earned a 3.02 GPA while the women possessed a 3.09 … It is back-to-back seasons for the Penn College men and the second time for the women of Penn College … Five student-athletes from the softball team were honored as Scholar Student-Athletes by the NFCA … 

Penn State Abington
Men’s soccer senior Hernando Villamil (Philadelphia, Pa.) set a new program record for goal with his 36th in a 5-0 win over Neumann University … Villamil added number 37 in a win over Gallaudet … Villamil shares the NEAC lead with nine goals this season …

Penn State Berks
The women’s soccer team shares the lead with Keuka in NEAC play at 5-0 … The Nittany Lions have allowed one goal in league play so far …

Penn State Harrisburg
The men’s soccer team is one of two teams sitting at 5-0 in NEAC play … The Nittany Lions needed overtime to beat Penn State Berks to stay perfect … They face Morrisville State on Saturday … The women’s soccer team earned the team academic award from the United Soccer Coaches with a 3.52 GPA …

SUNY Cobleskill
The Fighting Tigers had five student-athletes from the softball team recognized by the NFCA … Freshman Ashley Kubat was named ECAC Division II North Region Cross Country Rookie of the Month for September

SUNY Poly
The Wildcats are also 5-0 in NEAC men’s soccer play … SUNY Poly faces Penn College on Saturday …
